We interviewed Anne Raangs and Thomas Mani from Ocean Cleanup, during the SolarButterfly Climate Pioneer World Tour in Rotterdam.
The Dutch organization found that plastic goes from rivers to oceans so they are also focusing on cleaning the rivers from the plastic so it never reaches the oceans. They are physically cleaning the oceans too, with big machines.
Their ultimate mission is to clean oceans and they do not want to do this alone, they are interested in learning and they celebrate every single project and organization who work to reach the same goal. True pioneers.
