SolarButterfly interviewed Mart Erik Kermes, head of engineering at Solaride, on the 67th day of the Climate Pioneer World Tour, in Tartu, Estonia. Solaride is the first solar car in the Baltics. The team of students finished building it in 2021, bachelor and high school students worked on it, and they do not have one specific university, they have 5 partner unis from Estonia and some additional schools.

The top speed of the car is 98km/h, it can go up to 650 km with a full battery and 150km more if its very sunny.
