#139 Solar Advisory Service for Citizens
|In Germany
|By Rabinder Kumar
These days lots of people want to install solar panels on their rooftops. They need guidance as they don’t know how to do it. Moreover, there are not enough people around to advise them. So the city of Herrenberg and the leader of the environment department, Thomas Kleiser, had an idea why not find volunteers and train them to become solar advisers for citizens?
These solar advisors are now able to advise many citizens about solar installations on their particular rooftops. This way the number of solar installations on the rooftops in the city of Herrenberg (and in many other cities in Germany) can be accelerated significantly.
