The SolarButterfly world tour’s mission was to promote climate protection and renewable energy by showing that solutions to climate change already exist. It aimed to visit and connect climate pioneers around the world, gather and publicize about 1,000 practical climate solutions, and inspire people—especially young people—to take action.

The tour was an awareness and networking campaign for climate solutions, not just a travel project. It started at United Nations in Geneva in 2022 and finished at COP30 in Belém, Brazil.

Back in Switzerland, the SolarButterfly continues to visit schools. It has now been transformed into the world’s first climate solutions museum and will continue for the coming years as a unique climate education project, visiting and inspiring tens of thousands of pupils.
