The Coperativa COOPIDEAL is a cooperative of recyclable waste pickers located in Rio de Janeiro. It has been supported by BVRio through a training project aimed at improving the cooperative’s management and infrastructure.

The project is sustainable and pioneering, as it formalizes and digitizes waste management, increases efficiency in recycling operations, and strengthens the circular economy, generating social, environmental, and economic benefits for both the cooperative members and the wider community.
