#44 A new machine that protect topsoil and removes carbon from the atmosphere
The SolarButterfly interviewed Klemens Kalverkamp from NEXAT, on the 47th day of the Climate Pioneer World Tour, in Bersenbrück, Germany. These pioneers have a great innovation in agriculture. They created big agricultural machines, which compress only 5% of the field they work on. Usually around 60–80 % of the arable land is driven on which doesn’t allow the soil to breath, but NEXAT found a solution. Their innovations are big steps ahead for a regenerative agriculture.
With the help of NEXAT revolution and a regenerative, CO2-absorbing soil management, they want to bring about a decisive change worldwide towards climate-neutral agriculture.

When in Brussels, Louis Palmer interviewed Jutta Paulus from The Greens/EFA group in the SolarButterfly. She suggested to make our voices heard! Voters, the civil society has to stand up if we want real change regarding our climate.
This is an interesting chat about how things are looking in the European Parliament regarding climate change. Jutta Paulus talked about the renewable energy sector and how the war between Russia and Ukraine impacted it. How people are starting to see that nobody can put a hand on renewable energy.
Energy efficiency came up too and she shared her concerns about the 1.5 degree goals and how the EP is not on track right now. She also talked about how technology alone cannot save us and we need nature. We have to restore 30% of the ecosystem.

#39 The Climate Crisis is a Health Crisis
Anne Roosendaal, de Klimaat Dokter (the climate doctor) realized that the climate crisis is a healthcare crisis, and the healthcare sector is a big polluter. Having a profession to help the health of people does not match harming the same people by causing more climate change.
She wants to break this cycle and started this practice 2 years ago, and he says the green healthcare movement is growing fast. The interview was recorded on the 37th day of the Climate Pioneer World Tour, in Rotterdam, on the 28th of June.
