#16 Wind energy in Switzerland
We have visited the biggest Wind Power Plant in Switzerland, called Mont-Soleil. Thanks to our partner BKW we had a great day on the 13th Day of the SolarButterfly Climate Pioneer World Tour! Louis Palmer interviewed Pierre Berger, Director of the solar plant in Mont-Soleil, and Julien Galley, the Director of the Juvent wind farm Mont-Soleil.

#15 Battery powered trains
Day 11 and 12 were exciting at the SolarButterfly Climate Pioneer World Tour, we visited many places, for example met ministers and directors of energy in Glarus and saw an electric train at Stadler.

#14 Sustainable district in a city
Louis Palmer interviewed Beat Weiss, the CEO of Tech Cluster Zug AG on the 10th day of the Climate Pioneer World Tour. It’s a project to transform the industrial park in Zug to a tech cluster. They want to establish a new energy system too to make the tech cluster sustainable.

tb.glarus was created on January 1st, 2011 from the power plants of the four former municipalities of Netstal, Riedern, Glarus and Ennenda and is an independent public-law institution with its own legal personality and is 100% owned by the municipality of Glarus.
